Select Wi-Fi Access Point mode

Fixture

  1. Three devices A B C with Release Candidate installed and running, set up with the following Phone Numbers and Names:
    • 55501 TestA
    • 55502 TestB
    • 55503 TestC
  2. Ensure each device A B and C is disconnected:
    1. Go to Serval main screen → Connect
    2. Ensure Enable Services is OFF (un-check the checkbox if necessary)
    3. Turn Auto Cycle to OFF (un-check the checkbox)
    4. Go to peer list: Serval main screen → ContactsList Phones On The Mesh)
    5. Ensure the peer list is empty

Test

  1. On device A:
    1. Go to Serval main screen → Connect
    2. select the ap.servalproject.org HotSpot network
    3. if a warning dialog pops up, press the Connect button
    4. ASSERT After a few seconds, the ap.servalproject.org network is marked as On
    5. ASSERT All client networks (Open and Secured) disappear, replaced by Wi-Fi entry marked Off
  2. On each device B and C, associate as client of device A:
    1. Go to Serval main screen → Connect
    2. ASSERT A network called ap.servalproject.org Open appears in the list
    3. Select network ap.servalproject.org Open
    4. ASSERT After a few seconds, ap.servalproject.org Open network is marked as Connected
    5. ASSERT Device A appears in peer list: Serval main screen → ContactsList Phones On The Mesh contains entry for 55501 TestA
  3. ASSERT On device A, devices B and C both appear in peer list: Serval main screen → ContactsList Phones On The Mesh contains entries for 55502 TestB and 55503 TestC
  4. On device A, call device B: press 55502 TestB Call icon (green telephone)
  5. ASSERT Device B rings and displays Incoming call screen

Clean up

  1. EITHER On device A press End Call. Any failure in this process should be reported under the test case:
  2. OR On device B press Decline. Any failure in this process should be reported under the test case:
